New Delhi:In a temporary relief to Nupur Talwar, a co-accused in the 2008 sensational   murder of her teenage daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj, the Supreme Court on Friday stayed her arrest and also referred the case to Chief Justice of India SH Kapadia.

The CJI will next week decide on the future course of action and decide on which bench will initiate the hearing in the case. After remaining untraceable for two days, Nupur Talwar, a co-accused in the 2008 sensational murder of her teenage daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj, will reportedly appear in the Supreme Court on Friday.

Nupur Talwar’s lawyer Mukul Rohatgi said today that  "She is not a fugitive and running away from justice. She can come to the court at 2 pm today if the court takes up her case.”

Talwar has been in the run ever since and the Central Bureau of Investigation carried out intensive searches at her south Delhi residence, and two other places, but did not find her there.
