Uttar Pradesh: Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav was sworn in
as Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh today. The youngest ever Chief
Minister of Uttar Pradesh, in white kurta and black jacket, took oath
and then firmly shook hands with Governor BL Joshi



.He will be the 33rd chief minister of the state

Senior leaders from different political parties are  attended the function. Besides the political leaders, industrialists and several film actors  also participated in the function.

Akhilesh was on Saturday named the new chief minister of Uttar Pradesh by his party's lawmakers after the Samajwadi Party (SP) routed all its rivals in the recently concluded state assembly elections,gaining 224 of 403 seats in the state assembly.
