Andhra Pradesh:Liqur Mafia and 'T' led to adjournment of Assembly:

Hyderabad : The liquor syndicate issue and the separate Telangana issue have derailed the proceedings of the State Legislative Assembly and led to its adjournment for the day without any discussions on other issues.

 Soon after assembly assembled TDP and TRS members holding placards stormed on to the Speaker’s podium and began raising slogans for their respective demands.

While the TDP members furiously demanded sacking of ministers who received bribes from the liquor dons, the TRS members wanted a resolution to be passed for a separate Telangana state.

The Speaker Mr. Nadendla Manohar,the Chief  Minister Mr. N. Kiran Kumar Reddy and the Legislative Affairs Minister Mr.D.Sridhar Babu repeatedly requested to the agitating members to allow the House to function TDP and TRS members did not accept their appeal and continued to obstruct the house

As soon as the House reassembled, the TDP and the TRS once again trooped on the podium and began raising slogans.

Amidst the noisy scenes created by the TDP and TRS members, the Chief Minister intervened and appealed to the protesting members to allow the proceedings to begin as the Government was prepared to reply to each and every issue being raised in the House.”

The Speaker after repeatedly trying to make the TDP and TRS members to resume their seats and finding that his appeal was thrown into vain adjourned the House for the day to meet again on Thursday at 9 am.
