..Posted on 06 Feb 2012
Hyderabad: In Andhra Pradesh, another cabinet expansion in Kiran Kumar Reddy government is all set to be held this evening. Three members, of whom two are from Telangana region, are likely to be inducted into the Cabinet.

The Protocol wing of the government has informed Raj Bhavan that three MLAs would be sworn in at 6-28 pm on Monday.

Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has reportedly got green signal from the Congress high command for the present proposed cabinet expansion during his just concluded two-day visit to Delhi.

It is also seemingly intended to balance the representation of the three regions of the state in the cabinet and to fill up the vacancies created by resignation of two ministers from Telangana region over statehood issue. The expansion also may give scope for minor changes in the portfolios.

According to information, the names of Huzur Nagar (Nalgonda district) MLA Uttam Kumar Reddy and Vikarabad (RR District) MLA Prasada Kumar were already cleared. According to information, Kondru Murali of the coastal area also would be inducted. It is learnt that the Chief Minister has informed his confident Gandra Venkata Ramana Reddy who also went to New Delhi for lobbying, that he was unable to accommodate him for the present.
